“What to expect when you’re expecting” – Sperling & Kupfer (for Italy)

Description: One of the bestsellers, a real pregnancy bible, with over 14 millions copies sold. This new edition has the most up-to-date information reflecting not only what’s new in pregnancy, but what’s relevant to pregnant women. Heidi Murkoff answers dozens of new questions and includes loads of new asked-for material, such as a detailed week-by-week fetal development section in each of the monthly chapters, an expanded chapter on pre-conception, a brand new one on carrying multiples much more support for that very important partner in parenting, the dad-to-be. In Italy it’s sold by Ed. Sperling & Kupfer at a suggested price of 25,00 euro (575 pages).

Comment: A friend of mine, who has given birth to her baby a few months ago, told me about this book and I bought it. It’s very useful for those women planning to have a baby or for those ones who are living their first pregnancy. Beyond the precious suggestions and the detailed explanations on what happens to the baby week by week, each chapter is rich in any kind of questions, even the most unusual ones that you may not have the “courage” to face with your doctor. The mums-to-be will find an answer to all their doubts. In some cases it’s extremist and to read “with caution”. But without any doubt I join my friend and suggest this book to all the mothers who are reading this post.
